Police: meh.  Not getting Yoko when the segue was right there staring AL in the face has kinda soured my mood.

BOS for my favorite Police song.

It may be horribly sacreligious to say this, but I think "Woman" is pretty overrated.  I don't quite know how John could sing "I never meant to cause you harm or pain" with a straight face, unless he is in complete denial about his "Lost Weekend".  To me it only sounds like a reasonably good impression of a latter day Macca love song.

It's certainly his most "conventional" love song of the solo years. I suppose one could argue that that's ALL it is (and that he's not actually singing it TO Yoko) but given the context on Double Fantasy that argument doesn't fly.
