wow, their log is way off, time-wise:

2:39pm     RUDY by SUPERTRAMP
Album: CRIME OF THE CENTURY

I was just digging on The Beatles "There is a Place" and bemoaning the lack of early Beatles on KFOG, and that made me sad.  I remember a discussion somewhere here about the disappearance of the Beatles from radio, and it seems like many sad things.

speaking of the moody blues (and earlier of 3dn), this lucky television pedestrian happened upon a public broadcasting drive last friday evening: the 60's. live old and new  performances by the grass roots, the moody blues, chuck negron, scott mackenzie, and an ubercool eric burdon.

and speaking of public broadcasting, i also caught the kteh drive last night. the feature documentary: the day after trinity. all about oppenheimer's pet project. quite a swell film. one of the missuses interviewed was a jane wilson from san francisco. i'm curious to know if she was the same jane wilson who served on the chope foundation board of directors. there was a really old woman named jane wilson on the board when i worked there...a little side project when i find the time.

To me these were kind of lame, but perhaps I don't like admitting how old I've become.

I watched part of it too, but it was too downbeat for others, though I did get to explain the difference between an atomic and a hydrogen bomb to one of my daughters.
