some usual suspects (JA, the Who, Arthur Conley) but also some gems: Dusty's "Look of Love", the Dead's "Golden Road", Velvets "Waiting for the man", ?/Mysterians and uber-BOS Stones "Something Happened To Me" so, if you're out tonite... don't forget if you're on your bike... wear white.
And Peak-heads are no diff than Fogheads: with all the gems in this set, they voted "Somebody To Love" their favorite. ::)

Wed 5/2/12: May of 1972
nice B-day set. Stones, Staples, Paul & "Julio", Crosby/Nash, Neil, War, The Cat Man. Harry goes flyin' so high when he's stoned in the rain in SF. Nothing bustout-y here, just nice stuff.
BOS Todd, seeing the light again. . We'll hear most of these on Casey's '72 show this weekend, I reckon.
OTOH: Humble Pie, you are NOT spending 30 days in MY hole.
I Did Not Know That (or maybe I just forgot): Rick Wakeman played piano on Cat Stevens' "Morning Has Broken".

Holee crap: The Kinks' "Hatred" is an ATBB and gets BOSFRA.

Fri 5/4/12: 1983
eeek: The Tubes' uber-LN "She's a Beauty" as TOTHK.
also LN: Duran2 "Rio" and Bowie. Just you shut your mouse.
VHM Martin Briley, "Salt in My Tears" -- one of those songs that got zero airplay in NYC; I didn't hear it until years later.
VHM ZZT.
BOS Tracy Chapman Joan Armatrading. Drop that pilot, suckah!
good gawd: uber-uber-LN Madness, "Our House"
Boy! Oy! Mr Grant sings his ode to Montgomery Ward.
Really, Rob? "Bang the Drum" *AND* "(Keep Feeling) Fascination"? Damn, May of '83 and only 2 real semi-rarities. That's disconcerting.
