well, except for "Tonight's the Night"  ;)

I guess since Neil Young was 1975, you must be dissing Rod, in which I concur!

Nice start with (the new) Elvis... 1st track from My Aim Is True ... very appropriate for the start of our own Working Week.

For a split-sec I thought she finally played "Way Down".

Actually, I think it was Jackson Brown (see edited post).  I am on the radio so I may be a bit ahead, though a bit behind in identification of bands I don't care for.

I was wondering the same thing!  Then Iggy Pop came on, but I didn't think you'd call him Iggles!

Bowie

went to that Creators Project thing at Fort Mason yesterday and saw
"Life on Mars Revisited," a collaboration between film director Barney Clay and rock photographer Mick Rock. Based on footage of David Bowie performing "Life on Mars" that spent "30 years...in a cookie tin stashed in the back of Mick Rock's garage," the project remixes the original 16mm footage and "completely reinterprets Bowie's visual world."
(from http://news.cnet.com/2300-13772_3-10011678-15.html?s=0&o=10011678)

someone snuck a video cam/iphone in, you can get a sense of the project here, but it only shows part of one wall, at a weird angle

BOS for Bowie, as well as The Marshal Tucker Plan and their Purty Little Luh-uhve Song.  (proxy of Shray for Marshall Tucker, too).   Prob Bee Gees, too.  ...and Iggy.  why not.

And I agree with Geoff, David Lindley is the Nads.

AL said she hadn't heard The Stake in years, but I encounter it a lot, maybe in my itunes?  Same with Player's Baby Come Back.

I've come to realize I don't really like Bob Weir's voice.
