Great God in heaven, y'all!
BOS1 "Everybody Is A Star". Sounding perfect on a rainy day......
...as does "Band of Gold"! HM
BOS2 "If Not For You" by the Bob. Kinda sounds a bit like "Kodachrome" in parts...
-

Listening and loving it. Not taking time to comment.

Agreed on the Dead, which wasn't very familiar to me, but sounded mighty fine this morning.

03/15/12 - Thursday! Hitting The Ides of March in 1970!!
1. The Ides of March - Vehicle
(Ad: Dodge Charger 500 - "You could be Dodge material!")
2. Sly & the Family Stone - Everybody Is a Star (Happy Birthday, Sly)
3. Freda Payne - Band of Gold
(Ad: Certs breath mints - "Two! Two! Two mints in one!")
4. Bob Dylan - If Not For You
5. Grateful Dead - New Speedway Boogie (Happy Birthday, Phil Lesh)
(News: Mike Wallace reporting - Campaign 1970: Television has become a major political advertising force)
6. Credence Clearwater Revival - Run Through the Jungle
(News: National Guardsmen open fire on Kent State students protesting the American invasion of Cambodia)
7. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Ohio
(Politics: President Nixon: End the Vietnam War in a way that will ensure "a full generation of peace")
8. Edwin Starr - War
(TV: Partridge Family Show - Danny (Danny Bonaduce) is a klutz with his bass)
9. The Partridge Family - I Think I Love You
(Movie: Five Easy Pieces - Bobby (Jack Nicholson) finds unique way to order toast-Hold the chicken)
10. The Doors - Roadhouse Blues (B.O.S!)
Pretty standard-issue, but "Everybody is a Star" is a welcome rarity and I think the Dylan take on "If Not For You" is a bustout -- we've heard George's, I think, but not ONJ's which I'll have to request.

Damn! I spaced out and forgot to listen in to the replay. Hearing the Partridge Family is not my 1970.

dude, GD of Facebook fame will have a replay if you really need it, but I suspect you want want to listen to RADIO over the AIR, not a sound file you download from the 'net. That's why we love you! :)
and PS: the timestamp of your post is 09:31:24 PM.
Shouldn't that be 10:31 PM? Maybe the server needs to be adjusted for DST?

funny, I just noticed the time stamp too, and think I fixed it. Does it look fine for everyone now?

Hearing the Partridge Family is not my 1970.
It's becoming less than necessary every time it shows up, now. The first time, and then the VD set, were nice experiences, but it's not something I need to here every time we hit 1970, or even every fifth time we hit 1970.
On the other hand, it's a major sledgehammer for me. I distinctly remember coming being at school one day (I was in 6th grade) and as glee club was getting started, I had it "I Think I Love You" stuck in my head and got half the room going in an impromptu rendition.
