Requested some polka "classics", which in all honesty have as much chance of being played as my usual suggestions.

I requested Shriekback's "Gunning for the Buddha"(a Live 105 fave back in the 80s), which will probably get played since I can't listen today.  Same goes for "She's Crafty" & "Nasty".  Give a haaaaayy for me anyway, will ya?

I'm still getting --- who is this on the stream? Leonard Cohen?  But per FB the TOTHK is Sigue Sigue Sputnik.  I know some may have a soft spot for it but it's quite awful. WOS1.

Isn't PG a Katrina yet?  Sure seems that way to me.  Just a low tolerance I guess.

yeah, it probably is. It sounded so good compared to Sigue Sigue Whatever that I overreacted.  Life (and a katrina) is what you make it.

SRW, while showing signs of improvement from time to time, really got on my nerves last night. "Holding Back The Years"? Really? Ostensibly she did research last night to guarantee she got the right year, but one would think she could develop a request list less insipid than that.

a bustout or 2 would've helped -- not a bad set, just a rather average one.  OTOH, it was a late-'80s set without REM, the Cure, the Smiths or INXS!
