Title: 14 Nov 2011: a "classic" from 1992
Post by: RGMike on November 14, 2011, 08:50:33 AM
No clues, I'm guessing AL is still in Boston and we're getting a "classic"

Me, I've got an unexpected day off due to the "activity" in downtown Oaktown.  An opportunity to go see Brokeback G-Men J. Edgar.

ETA: strike that... Kaiser is now re-opened and I'll be heading in to work in a bit.

ETA2: OK, Webster all but said it was a rerun of the "20th anniv of Nevermind[/]" set. But we're getting '92, not '91. either way... feh.

is 'feh' related to 'meh?'

"Meh" means "i don't really care"; "Feh" is active dislike.

As I recall, this was well-received when it first was played, particularly "Trout" and En Vogue.

"Trout" was my BOS (more Neneh Cherry, please) and even though "Dyslexic Heart" comes up a bit in '92 sets, I still enjoy hearing it.  Maybe it's because I love Singles so much (the soundtrack, too).  Never was much of an En Vogue fan for whatever reason.
