Today would've been a better day for '85 ("Election Day" - Arcadia). Oh well.
-
I normally dig Fred P's suggestions but Loverboy AND Night Ranger?? EEK.
ETA: and it gets worse: "Head Over Heels", "Sunset Grill", "Miami Vice"... really?
-
Sunset Grill is a great song, and a great fretless bass line by Pino Palladino!

Agreed, although I've requested that on multiple occasions but it remains a bustout of the future.

It is, and it has, but it's been way overexposed on KFOG (and everywhere else) over the years.
-
uh-oh --LFTA18 tracks again. Hope they don't have the same prob as yesterday.
-
Simple 'Trinas are alive'n'kicking, all right. Better than "Don't You Forget", at least.
-
OMFG: BOS "Axel F" -- my first request in ages! (and another bustout-of-the-week candidate)
"get the f**k outta here!"
VHM Mr Palmer, which I think we heard recently, no?
ETA: didn't come up in the search, maybe it was Rob who played it.
-
BOS "Axel F"
HM Balky. I'm not being ridiculous!
-
JF is already "on fire!!!!" Dude, we're only 3 songs in. sheesh.
Obligatory INXS appearance.
-
Rock Hudson is still dead. We've heard this clip a few too many times.
"straight" from central casting, heh heh.
-
Hoodoo Gurus - Bittersweet
BOS and proxy of shray.
sorry I missed the Axel F -- BOS for that too!
-
BOS2 Hoodoo Gooroos :-)
VHM JCM, standin' in the shadows of love.
Hey soul sister, it's Mr Mister. "my body burns a jet-like flame" -- so they were lighting farts while they sang this?
-

AT40 last weekend. Casey played a snippet of the Cherrelle original before RP.
-
Mr. Mister has just not aged well.
-
WOS Kyrie. God help us.
-

Godley help us too.
I didn't see what she did there, so I had to look it up.
I thought it was about a girl named Kyrie. Oy vey.

-
BOS3 J&MC. Mmmmmm... honey.
-
BOS4 Eurythmics. believe me!
-
this set has its share of don't need to hear again stuff. *cough*INXS*cough*Eurythmics*cough*

I'm staying tuned for the big-ass Emergency Test thingy.
But first we gotta roll away our little lion stone, or something.

used to love this one, but a friend had a little experience with Annie Lennox that has affected my opinion of her (Annie, that is). Essentially, my friend saw Annie and her two backup singers walking around Union Square. My friend went up to Annie to say 'Great show last night' and try to shake her hand, but Annie recoiled and held up her own hand, like 'Stop right there.'
Perhaps my friend was too enthusiastic? And there's nothing to says a rock star has to entertain everyone who recognizes them on the street, but still...
She's seemed like a real Diva.
