-
BOS1 Zep.
Hey babe. I just wanna rock rock rock. wooo hoooo
-
could do w/o the big 10-inch
record
-
VHM "Big 10-Inch" -- at least it's not the dreaded (and requested) "Sweet Emotion"
-
BOS Amazing Rythym Aces. Nice.
-
None of what we've heard so far are bad, but nothing that's BOS-worthy either.
Scratch that--BOS Amazing Rhythm Aces. Which was one of my requests. Yay!
-
and speaking of 10 inches: BOS2 "3rd rate Romance"
BOS3 Nils Lofgren!
-
BOS Amazing Rythym Aces. Nice.
I second that. They're a great band, though you never hear any song by them except this one, unless you listen to KPIG.

NTM and I likey. :)
-
BOS Amazing Rythym Aces. Nice.
interesting, NTM.
But I can picture a backlash in some circles in the 70s against songs that had this lazy country twangy feel. (little feat, dead, these guys). Sort of like the DMB today.
is this Nils Lofgren/Grin?
-
BOS, Nils Lofgren.

Sure sounds like him.
-
BOS2 Dylan...even though it's an obvious cut.
-
BOS Dylan, all tangled up
-
VHM "Tangled Up in Blue", a little too-much the "go-to" track from this LP -- anything else woulda been BOS.
-
BOS2 Dylan...even though it's an obvious cut.
.. and for good reason, one of his best! BOS from me, too.
i remember hearing this as a youngster and thought "man, this story is compelling and the music is very catchy.. I like this!"
... and then he started in w the harmonica and I thought "WTF?" I froze up inside.

as I just posted on FB,this is a small gem of '70s narrative songwriting, and there's both a soul cover (by the obscure '70s outfit Ace Spectrum) and a country version that charted for Sammy Kershaw in the '90s. Both worth seeking out.
-
it's not a Black Friday with a set this ggod.
-
Max, did they just say "Jew the Hustle?"
-

I don't really want to be your friend! I will drink your wine however.

Near as I can tell, this is a bustout, at least from the DM era.
This War tune, however, is the furthest thing from a bustout.
-
BOS2, WAR.
I've always had a hate/love relationship with this one. Right now, I'm loving it. Go figure.

OMFG!!! uber-BOS5 Mr Waits!
Had a feeling she might play this one. She was gushing all over about it on FB last night.
D'oh!!! Weather reportus interruptus!!! NOT LIKE!
-
Just popping in to say hello. Glad its Friday, glad its 1975! The past few months my job and cow-orkers have sure gotten in the way of enjoying 10at10 live, but since I like having a roof over my head, I'll have to deal with it. Happy Weekend, all!
-
Who picks the crappy songs that always seem to follow 10@10??? "Hey Jealousy"...really?
ETA: Matt Nathanson next.

hard to believe Disco Dave never played it (not even in an instrumentals set!) but you appear to be correct.

it's to reassure "the kids" that KFOG really hasn't gone all-oldster.
I'm bailing on Matt N faster than you can say "Faster"

I close the online player immediately after 10@10. Bye KFOG.
AL, you rock. KFOG after your show, not so much.

I second that emotion. I used to be a Foghead, but in the past year its 10at10 only.

I'll flip them on when I'm in the car -- if you only listen occasionally they're great but if you listen all the time... they're as repetitive as KFOG or Oldies 103.7 (How many times a week do you need to hear "Love Train"?)
