Got some bi'ness to take care of in the AM. I asked for some Chameleons UK (Swamp Thing, Tears) anyway. Hope springs eternal...
-
OK I *know* AL just played "Panic" recently. Here's hoping this is one of the GOOD late-'80s excursions and not a Dave-on-autopilot affair.
-
Someone requested Kyrie. We might need to drink some cherry wine to get through this.

and given how much REM we've heard in the last week, why would anyone... Oh. I forgot. They're Fogheads. ;)
Oh lord: Crowded House too.

Good thing sundaygal's not here: it's Timbuk 'Trina, the bane of her existence. Never mind shades -- she'd need earplugs.
-
BOS Bangles, "September Gurls" -- one from my wishlist that I *didn't* ask for this time!
-
seriously, do I have to wear shades?
Is this Michael Steele, the one that wasn't the GOP National Chairman? Good Alex Chilton-esque inflection!
BangelsOS!

Bring me a higher love. And a vente Mocha.

Weird that we have a Katrina, a bustout, and a #1-that-isn't-quite-a-Katrina
-
VHM Steve Winwood. It isn't common enough on kfog that I dislike it and it sounded good today.
-
VHM the original Fergie.

As opposed to "Roll With It".
I would concur - it is nice to hear every now and then. Although I'd love it if "Freedom Overspill" appeared on the radio in any capacity.
-
BOS2 Elvis C -- "She said that she was working for the ABC News/It was as much of the alphabet as she knew how to use"
-
pretty nice Elvis Costello tune, NTM. I'm not a huge fan, but this sounds pretty.
-
Moodies past their sell-by date. (sorry, it's become tradition to say that. a tradition-'trina, if you will)
-
Hey, I'm liking this well enough and it's *not* INXS. NTM so that's definitely worth something.
-
It appears the Elvis C is a bustout -- tho' it was an AL "bonus track" a few times in the Morey era.
-
VHM the Fixx
-
BOS Prince -- Kiss.
-
BOS3 the Purple One. don't be too flirty, momma!

jsut spoke w Shray and he wanted me to vote by proxy for him:
BOS - Elvis
WOS - Stevie Winwood
WOS2 - Moodies. He likes them up until they went horribly commercial.
-
Lawd knows I admire crankypants-ness, but this Fred P guy hates Prince. I mean, WTF?
proxy of sundaygal: Bananarama! (or "those 3 talentless slags" as one snarky Brit critic called them)
-
it's the shaving commercial!
-
Least Necessary: addicted to love, palmer

VHM New Order, but bizarre love triangle is a huge Katrina.
-
BOS4 New Order, frequent flier tho' it is.

Love the pun!

I didn't hear the set, but I think the line Mike quoted is from "Brilliant Mistake," off of King of America.
I think AL may have played it a time or two in her tenure; it's certainly not in the Shraytabase during Dave's reign.

Not quite, surprisingly -- it's their most overplayed hit but it's only been played on 10@10 once before. Still woulda preferred Shellshock.

Late BOSes to Bananarama and (especially) The Bangles! WOS Timbuk 3 (won't this f--king song go away already?)
Fred only likes The Stones, I think. ;)
