Eleanor Mondale and Kara Kennedy, both 51, both from cancer.
Eleanor Mondale, daughter of the former VP, was a TV entertainment reporter, radio show host and occasional magnet for gossip. She had left her weekday morning radio show in 2009 when she announced the return of brain cancer.
