Was thinking we might hear a previously played Labor Day set, but it appears that's one holiday AL has not yet commemorated on her watch, so not bloody likely. So maybe...1985 again?

she was (I think) live on the radio yesterday, so if she's there in person today, anything's possible.
ETA: AL just said we're getting an "encore"... and it's '88. Sinead loves her some Mandingo Mandinka. And I'm back to WLNG.

agreed, and we just heard the Randy Newman recently too. Still, this is a vintage (pre-DC) '88 set with two that had been on my wish-list (Patti S & Joan J) and Info Society too. The golden age of AL. We'll look back fondly on the past 2 years for decades to come...
