Seriously, all their requests are on 103.7's regular rotation!

I wanted to give "In The Flesh" some props, since X-Offender gets played the most off of that LP.   :)

Is it just me, or do the pre-10@10 commercials go on a lot longer than they used to?

TOTHK Mr Seger, but lots of potential for this set, so let's see if we get a bustout.

heh, I agree he's WAAAAY overplayed - esp on KFOG - but this is one of his best songs.

In a recent interview, Big Rick Stuart took a shot at KFOG's timid playlist and general soccer mom sound choices by saying something like "if you sound like lite Tom Petty, KFOG will play your music."

Apart from Bobby P, this has been a 10@10 for Dummies.

I should probably change my WOS to a "Most Unnecessary", I just don't need to hear Tom for the next year or so.

Even though I try to resist the club's tendencies to diss music they hear too much (good music is good music, which is apart from how often it's played) I have to agree about Tom Petty.  I loved Petty at first, saw his first tour/show at the Old Waldorf, etc.  But KFOG does indeed overplay him to death.  The true point is they continually play the mediocre along with the classic Petty, denigrating the overall Petty Appreciation Index!

Hot Chocolate was an interesting blend of Brits and guys from Trinidad/Tobago, hence their sound. And this hit made the Top 10 in each of three decades!

I'm guessing top ten in other countries, cause it certainly didn't go US Top 10 in 1987 (1997 is a bit harder to figure out, as Billboard had drastically changed their rules at that point). And I wasn't trackingthen.
