BOSFRA, Joe Jackson, "19 Forever". I guess that's what it is called. Unfamiliar, but nice.

First heard "Nineteen Forever" on KRQR... a sorta-hit the summer I turned 19, got really into Pineapple Crush, and tried very hard to date a blonde German girl. And yes, I never turned 35.

I think I would have turned this off in 1989, but it's not so bad today. Who is it?

Certain years just sound that way, '89 being a prime example.

indeed, which is why it was one of the 2 most-dreaded years (along with '87) in the Morey era. AL made it better in the past 2 years, thanks to FB requests but there's no excuse for this -- DC's on vacay this week, isn't he?

"Bro! It's Bonnie Raitt!" *does that white man overbite booty-scoot dance, the one where you're still holding your beer and try not to spill it*
"Did you realize that her last name and John Hiatt's are like, pretty close?!"

FB-ers are speculating if this is a rerun ("sounds like one" is the refrain) but our records say it's not a repeat, er, "classic"... but given how KFOG-playlist-centric it is, it might as well be.
