No clues on FB and I haven't heard a promo. Anybody? Bueller?
Hate to say it, but I expect another '90s excursion.

Nice birthday shout-out from AL! Too bad she didn't grant your birthday wish, as we're in the 90s. A crappy song about my favorite movie to start. @#$%!!!

But 95! No Likey.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! "Breakfast at 'Trinanny's"
OK, I'm sticking with 1340 the Boardwalk. Sorry, AL.
-
Dear Jebus - our 'classic' this week was 1981? Not a good thing.
-
There are other songs on this fab Elastica album ya know!
-
OK, I've been as forgiving of the 'new direction' as anyone could reasonably expect, and I really do like Elactica's "Connection", but this got played only 15 days ago in a 1994 set!
-
I'm just a
pissed off girl. No doubt.
-
I heard bits of the first three songs and it all sounded very Bare Naked Goo Goo Lady Dolls-like, so I'm bailing, too.
But Happy Birthday to Alicat the Leo Lyon!
-
Haven't been on FB today, but I can only imagine: "OMFG, I Can't BELIEVE She played NO DOUBT"!

there's way more discussion of the "new direction" than of the actual songs being played.
BTW, the Sound is doing some sorta weekend set ("Saturday Night", "Friday on My Mind", "Bang the Drum All Day", ZZT's "Just Got Paid" etc)

In support of the new direction or criticizing it?
No, not the Foos again! Sheesh!

No, not the Foos again! Sheesh!
mostly serious criticism. I see AL played Pulp's "Common People" for the 3rd or 4th time. Glad I stuck with the Boardwalk.
-
Ok, I've looked. Mostly support of AL for having to deal with the regime change. I just wish she'd play "Sunday Morning" instead of "Just A Girl" or "I'll Stick Around" instead of "Big Me", but it appears she can't even do that.
