whether the decent ones get played is another issue entirely ;)
Someone did ask for (TANC) "Your Love" by the Outfield.

Would that be a "bustout"? I can't recall it ever appearing here. Actually, I can't recall the Outfield ever being played, certainly not by Aubrey Huff (rimshot!)

It's not in the shraytabase and I don't recall AL playing it either. Not that I'm jonesing for it or anything.

a new (ish) opening? why?
INXS are becoming the Cars, inevitability-wise.
-
I'm pretty sure the answer to "Whatcha need?" is not more INXS.

indeed -- I think we've heard them in 75% of '80s and early-'90s sets lately. This new rotation means years come up every 3 weeks. Sheesh.

the announcer asks "So Al, when.. are we today?"
it's cute. maybe it also signals fewer FB requests threads...?
HM to the Stones' Harlum Shuff-oh. Good gritty & dirty sound.

Oooh...Sade. So smooth.
-
extremely HM to John Hughes
Holee crap! Sade!
-
Oooh...Sade. So smooth.
uber-BOS4! This is a bustout, methinks. And a long-overdue one.
and proof AL isn't totally handcuffed, I suppose.
-
more sax! VHM Steve Miller, an underrated single of his. Proxy of geoff.

I was going to BOS Sade too, then one of my favorite Steve Miller songs comes on! I thought '86 would be hopeless!

VHM as well, Miller's last hit single. Has that 80s smooth sound, nice segue following Sade.
And good to hear that Sade track as well, but not surprised, as she is in concert here later this month.

LAWD! BOS5 Cameo!! all that's missing now is Oran "Juice" Jones...
This was like old-school (pre-DC) Annalisa. Start with the hits, then go crazy.

Sade, Steve Miller and Cameo have brought this set back from the mundane (Smiths notwithstanding)

the Sade and T.Heads were bustouts, Cameo was played once by Dave (and possibly once before by AL). The Steve Miller, interestingly, was played 5 times by Dave -- but always in 1987 sets (it peaked early in '87).

BOS Cameo / VHM Sade & Talking Heads (we're really hearing them a lot lately though, in & out of 10@10...but at least this one was ntm.)
Nice to hear that Steve Miller song again too. I remember Dave playing it all the time but haven't heard it since AL took over. I wish she would have played a different Oingo Boingo song...but still not complaining too much.

Belated BOS to "Sweetest Taboo," one of my all-time faves.
