So I still don't get why he calls her "Bruce". And I used to think it was "I'll tell you once more before I get off the phone...". Works well enough.

indeed -- imagine a sequel to Family Ties where we meet Michael J Fox's character 30 years later... and he's played by Wilford Brimley. or Shatner.

I was just thinking the song sounds great, but the lyrics are awful, especially the oft-repeated refrain "love isn't always on time".
