Probably due in no small part to the synchronous demises of Rob Grill (Grass Roots' singer) and Gilligan's Island/Brady Bunch creator Sherwood Schwartz, we're getting a trip way way WAY back tomorrow. Enjoy it folks, it may not happen again for awhile.

Not yet. And I'm not sure my opinion would carry much weight anyway, being as I'm so far out of the KFOG broadcast area.

RGM, for the email, would you focus on KFOG's new playlist direction in general? or are you talking about the apparent revamp of 10@10? if so, you might want to consider that no official announcement has been made about where 10@10 is headed.
Now, there may be rumors floating around -- or perhaps FB "little secrets" if you catch my drift... hmm? -- but consider that nothing outside of a "civilian" listener's playlist examination is really on the table, know what I mean? I don't think any other evidence you might be privy to would be "admissible" in court. ;)

Let's live for '60s 10@10s!
Mr Grill needs to feel you inside of him...
damn, it's a serious stereo separation set: "LFT" followed by "Penny Lane".

Rob Grill died? :'(
BOS of BOSes to "Penny Lane," but it's hard for '67 not to be a 10-way tie.

it's all too beautiful (and bittersweet if this really is our last '67 visit for a while).

as I posted on FB, the Air Force is a great place to meet Rough Boys.

That prior photo was just after Creed left the Grass Roots in '69. He was in the group '67-69, pictured on below album cover lower right. He's been on TV's The Office since 2005, references are made to his character also having been in the Grass Roots.

I didn't know until this week that Sherwood Schwartz had written the Gilligan and Brady theme songs - or that the S.S. Minnow was named for that guy who called TV a "vast wasteland."

indeed, the Cat Stevens was the only bustout here -- my requests, Cher, the Sinatras and Peter Paul & Mary's "Too Much o' Nuthin'" didn't make the cut today.
