AL opened up her request line around 7:30am. Better late than never!
Requested "Let The Music Play" (doubtful), "Poor Girl" - X, and "Legal Tender" B-52's. Wonder if KFOG even has Shannon in their library...

I "+1'-ed" the Shannon, a truly fab 45 (bet AL has the 12" at home)and added Culture Club, Macca & MJ, and OMD.

Also requested "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues". Might just be my fave EJ song...and a good Karaoke tune, as well. I just now found out that Stevie Wonder plays the harmonica on it. Duh...makes total sense now!

great tune but EJ "rollin' like thunder under the covers" remains a disturbing visual. ;)

despite Stevie Ray Vaughan fantastic guitar here, I prefer the slower version. But you know what would be cool? A remix combining BOTH versions. Dude!

Thanks to Dave Morey, I'll always hear the opening notes of Heaven 17's "Let Me Go" after that War Games clip.
BOS2 to Frida, steeling herself quite nicely.
-
BOS2 Frida's "SGO", making its 2nd appearance in the AL era. But a welcome one.
-
this set didn't stray too far from
the usual what my local station was playing back then, but it's pretty good.

an exchange this morning on FB (regarding Hot Choc's "So You Win Again") reminds me that the Frida tune was yet another hit written by Russ Ballard.
