Get your request on at AL's page...

Lawd help me: there are requests for "Me & Bobby McGee", "Imagine", "Won't Get Fooled Again", "Day After Day", "Shaft", "Stairway To Heaven"... Mercy! You'd think these people never listen to the radio. Also quite the groundswell for "Timothy".

TANC: Saw that you requested Dylan's Watching The River Flow, among others. That was my runner-up for "Fave Dylan Song" in the Happy Birthday thread yesterday. (Today my fave would be Isis.)

I can't believe Dave never played it in all his years of 10@10 -- and am still flabbergasted that it failed to hit the Top 40 (it's one of those peaked-at-#41 heartbreakers). Leon Russell's piano is killer.

Someone requested "What's Going On" as well -- which turned out to be today's KFOG "Song of the Day".
And while we're berating unimaginative Fogheads (another asked for "Just My Imagination", oh irony) this morning's Request-O-Rama winner wanted to hear... "Hotel California". ::)

Of all things!

But I think the all-time kicker happened a few years ago when somebody wanted to hear the Calling's "Wherever You Will Go".

I saw them once -- they opened for Dr John Hook. ;)

Swedish-a Hykah! Not an auspicious beginning.
Doors "LA Woman" ain't helping things.

The top-of-the-hour hooker is a Swedish hiker. This bodes interesting.

-
The magnificent W-O-O-O! TANC, I was just playing this two nights ago in a series of 1971 Top of the Pops clips.
-
VHM "Double Barrel" -- a bit of a frequent-flier at this point but still delightfully "WTF?" after all these years.

ah, that poignant memory explains why it always rates highly in your voting. :) I think it's a little too-frequent flyer at times.

One of my favorites too. I've always wondered about the different swirling guitar licks. Sounds a little Garcia-ish at the beginning. Lots of different styles at work. Looks like Carlos is in the mix too.

Indeed, both were in the jam session that produced this song.

very reminiscent of some of the collaborations on David Crosby's "If Only I Could Remember My Name" album from the era of the Marin County super family.
