Tchaaa! This got serious AOR airplay. The first cut of the record, IIRC, called Behind the Lines

don't think we'll hear it,m though. That was back when the bonus track came 20 mins after the set, when AL would do a call-in quiz.
That Bosom Buddies clip should be retired.

Same here. They're always fun. Saw 'em last summer. Great show, and not as scary as Blondie (sorry, Sundaygal!).
-
"Kiss your pineapples!"?? Really Fred?
[I have to confess I don't listen to 10@10 nearly as much as I'd like. But I just set the clock radio in my office to go off at 10AM. Gotta remember to turn the volume down when I plug my headphones back into my computer.]

Aww, come on, there's no song about a strobe light on the first record! ;)

I always forget how great the movies were in 1980. But I think I always post about it when we get to this point in the set. Bet I could go back and see that I said the same thing...
-
Man, 1980 was apparently full of guilty pleasures for me, like this Loggins track. But wait, I was 10. What could I be guilty about?

ARGH, 97.7 just crapped out. Trying 104.5. Damn, right in the middle of the final vamp.
-
Nope, 97.7 is dead dead dead. On staticky but still alive 104.5, where they were already into Billy Joel.
-
BOS3 BJ in his grand cafe, new hotel, whatever.
-
Hey, this is probably a coincidence, but the news clip on Mt St. Helens was from May 18, 1980. 31 yrs and one day ago.

Wow, the main reason that I remember the date of the Mt. St. Helens explosion was that I was already accepted into college in Tacoma WA when it happened, only about 75 miles from the volcano, and when I got there my freshman roommate told me that it was also his birthday. And he was the one who introduced me to this Steve Forbert album. We played it a lot actually.
-
WOS whoever this is...
I never really understood the love for this, either.
it's Steve Forbert - Romeo's Tune
-
Another coincidence for this classic set is that today is Pete T's 66th birthday.
