Easy: 80s on Wed, Cinco de Mayo set on Thurs, and 60s on Friday! Everyone gets their flan and eats it too!

BOS Mamas and the Papas. Denny saw Michelle again last night..... ;)

This is either going to be a short set, or it's going to 11.
Lots of ex-folkies representing so far. The Association, Simon & Garfunkel, Mamas & Papas, for sure. And the Beach Boys tune is an old folk song, too.

Don't recognize this instrumental, but it's rockin'

I've heard it but can't recall who did it. Although I think Tom Petty & the HBs covered it when they did their Fillmore residency in '98.

13th Floor Elevator (from Texas) - You're Gonna Miss Me

London mod clip reminds me of last Friday, when Terence Stamp was at the Castro to talk about his career, his loves, etc. Did you know he originally had the lead in Blow Up? But then Antonioni just dropped him and gave the role to David Hemmings.

what? No love for Sloop John B? One of my favorites, great bass line, sounds like Carole Kaye. And for the youngun's, the John Mayall cut featured a young Eric 'Slowhand' Clapton on lead guitar!

Yardbirds - Shapes of Things
I dug the Reagan clip before this track, talking about the wild shapes being projected on the screens! People, when I walked into my first concert at Winterland, December 1967, it was a pretty awesome sight to see light projections on multiple walls! I had just turned 17. Mindblowing indeed!
