AL just posted...so get your requests in nice and early! I'll be working at my son's preschool, so I'll be sitting this one out. :(
-
Such a great year. I posted a few requests but probably too little too late.
-
I've never been that excited about "Something In the Air". Thunderclap Newman's voice sounds so thin, even doubled.
-
this second song is really nice and i'll say it's NTM. something about Buffalo. I know the voice, don't I? BOSFRA
and speaking of voices, Harry Nilsson's gets a BOS for Everybody's Talkin'. Love the movie, makes me cry every time.
wow, I just read that Bob Balaban is the teenager who pays to give Joe Buck oral services in the theater and then reveals he has no money.
-
BOS to Joe South's "Games." Furthermore, to hell with hate!
-
Stand! Great set. Listening but working.
-
Alicat gets her request! Yay for "The Composer."
-
Got my Diana the Composer. sweet
-
BOS Diana Ross
-
BOS Steam. This will forever remind me of the final SF Giants game at the Stick before the move to Embarcadero.

Strangely unsatisfying for '69.
Well, I'm gonna see Mike this evening; our greets to all!

Have fun! Wish I could be there. It was so fab seeing you on my last trip. Baseball game outing planned?

Indeed - seeing the Yanks on Saturday! (I'll be loopy: I have to pull an all-nighter at work tomorrow, since we're closing our Royal Wedding issue early; then I have a softball doubleheader at 10 before heading directly to the stadium.)
Tonight's outing, btw, is to see The Book of Mormon. My first excursion to B'way theater in months.

I'm a little surprised she played this one. Someone requested I Guess The Lord Must Be In New York City, and she commented on it being one he actually wrote instead of ET, which is a Fred Neil comp, so that's what I figured she'd pull out. Alas, she went for the one everybody knows. Sigh.
Missed the set entirely when a delivery that was supposed to arrive between 8 and 9 didn't show up until 10. Thanks, eff-heads.
Props to Alicat for requesting one of the bigger rarities of the set, along with the Jimmy Cliff and Joe South. Hope to catch the replay tonight.

Awesome -- another past request of mine from my '69 wishlist. Sorry i missed. That and "The Composer" are worthy bustouts that almost make up for the uber-Trina from Steam.
