Title: 11 April 2011: it's... 1977
Post by: RGMike on April 10, 2011, 01:01:42 PM
AL just posted "Lovely Day" as a clue -- technically an early-'78 hit that charted in (very-)late '77. And since we just did '78 2 weeks ago... '77 seems like what she's going for.

ETA: it is indeed '77 and AL is threatening to finally play Elvis (Presley, not Costello). "Way Down" has been on my wish-list forever.

TANC:  Casey just gave Lovely Day a longest-note-sung-in-the-top-40 shout out!

love the ELO (katrina?  who cares!)

third time in two day's I've heard Lovely Day. Both times yesterday were during the beautiful weather out along the Great Highway.  It was Sunday Streets, so no cars!    that's the way it should be, all over, all the time.  Love the fade out.

this set shaping up nicely.
