Kinda glad, actually, as I'm having a busy morning all of a sudden, so I won't feel compelled to post.

Nope, but it def borrows from them. It's Charles Wright and the Watts 103rd St. Rhythm Band.

Hate to knock a Doors appearance, but "Wild Child" is among my least favorites of theirs.  Jim made a better sex symbol than shaman.

Back in the '80s there was a famous Lawn Guyland-based Doors cover band called Crystal Ship. Or as the locals used to call 'em, "Crystal Shit".
