Tuned in to JJ for a KPOO breakfast -- all ah gots is "Crumbs Off the Table"!

But MJ & his bros arrive with "Darling Dear", a fab forgotten B-side. "do be sincere/and true love will appear"

and JJ signs off with the Emperors' "Karate", which was later morphed into Santana's "Everybody's Everything" -- Can ah DO it!

Radio de Sebb plays Total Coelo's "Milk From The Coconut" -- their "I Eat Cannibals" would've been welcome in today's '83 set.

I always forget about KPOO's Thusday morning soul show (9-11) but it's off to a fine start with Honey Cone's "Girls it Ain't Easy", followed by "Hold Me Tight" and "Cry to Me"

And as I get ready to segue to AL, we get Timi Yuro's "What's-a-matter, baby?"

TANC: Viola Wills' discofied cover of "Gonna Get Along Without You Now", which I posted on FB last week, popped up on Radio de Sebb yesterday and on 1340 the Boardwalk today.
