the request thread just went up...

I realize I'm beating a dead horse here but we've gotten requests for:
"Island Girl"
"One of these Nights"
"Born To Run"
"Mamma Mia"
"Squeeze Box"
Oy.

AL begins the way Austin "Bob" began their '75 set today: with a TOTHK from Pilot. Oh ho ho.

I've always enjoyed this one since the first day Dave played it ;)

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! WOS Rush -- a fly-by-night choice indeed.
-
Fly by Night to Rocky Horror! I'll give a BOS to counteract the Rush haters. Ya gotta admit we don't hear this one too much.

This is officially an AL-'trina -- she played it in 3 1975 sets in 2010 alone.

Paul Carrack & Ace - How Long (since we've heard this)
well, Dave last played it 3 years ago; dunno about AL. The thing is these songs are not exactly absent from the radio, generally. And I listen to The Drive's 10@10 where things like ACE and EWF are mainstays.
Except for this fab Robert Palmer rarity: uber-BOS3 "Gimme an Inch"
-
Wow! Robert Palmer stealing the BOS from Bowie!!!
