no clues again and I haven't heard a promo. We haven't hit '60s or '80s yet this week.
ETA - Webster spills the beans: it's 1985.
-
If I hear that "New Coke" clip again I really *will* "Shout".
-
I don't need to hear "Shout" anymore, I'm afraid.
And I love Aimee Mann, but I'm almost done with "Voices Carry" too. Really hitting the middle of the road so far, but I'm confident AL will veer off nicely when we least expect it.

yeah, another for that list.
as is "Voices Carry", at least for me. (Sorry, Mrs. Penn)

Hush, hush! ;)

yay! uber-BOS the gorgeous "Whole of the Moon", tho' we heard it recently, no?
ETA: it was September ... seems like it was yesterday
-
BOS for 'Til Tuesday, though so far I'm holding my breath that it won't be another set full of unnecessary hits.
-

I was just listening to it on my iPod last night. One of the top 20 songs ever for me.

Now that's an endorsement! Hey, did I just hear a cannon shot? never noticed that before.
-
BOS2 Tutu. He's too too!
I'll be exiting early... 10:30 metting (this has been an annoying week). Let me know if I miss anything earth-shattering.
-
BOS2 Waterboys...but yeah, I think we went here in 1986 recently.

The Alarm's done better...but BOS3 to BAD.
-
I'll give E=MC2 a BOS. Another fabulous band I've seen at The Warfield!
-
So what films are those clips from? - BAD
-
BOS this B.A.D. twin-spin! The Bottom Line never gets any love!
-
A double dose of BAD! Didn't expect this but it sounds mighty good. BOS4
-
B.A.D.OS!
-
This sounds just like my cassette mix ( not played in 15+ years) - went from E=mc2 to Bottom line - not the extended version, tho
-
clip from Live Aid: possible Phil Collins alert?
ETA: No, it's the Zombie apocalypse, brought to you by Hooters

not a bad song, innit?
-
First time I've heard a Hooters song other than "And We Danced." This gets a VHMFRA.
-
Raspberry Beret - I think I loooove you. BOS!
-
A few enjoyable tunes, but all in all a very Dave-like set.
-
Running Up that Hill! Now here's one I never get tired of. BOS5
-
yay for small Walkmen!
-
Gonna give Running Up That Hill a BOS too. I love me some...nevermind. Hounds Of Love is the best bass guitar-free album!

totes magotes, not too adventurous, considering AL's track record.

How insulting it must be for Kate Bush to have that as a last name.

I'm sure she's over it by now.

Yeah, this seems to be the new template on days when AL doesn't solicit suggestions. "WWDD?"
If we get our '60s set tomo'w that will be 2 '60s Fridays in a row, speaking of Dave-like things.

that was just having some fun.
Do you remember the guy who had a short-lived blog where he would post each days 10@10 songs via YouTube clips? This was a good 5 years ago or more, I'd say.

It was while I was still in SF, so it's been at least three years. Not sure it was as long as five, though.

Memory hazy. But it was when I was at my previous job, so it was at least 4 years ago, since my 4-yr anniv here is next month.
