AL on FB sez: "Hey gang! The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards happen on Sunday. I'll be pulling a tune from 10 Grammy winning Albums of the Year on Friday's 10@10"
*shudder*
-
Indeed... even though I'll be able to listen to this one live, I may choose not to.
-
Let's hope she pulls from albums prior to '81. I distinctly remember when Christopher Cross won that year. Sooo wrong.

I hope she sprinkles some Bob Newhart comedy clips in-between songs (winner best album of 1960). Judy Garland doing "San Francisco" would be a hoot.

sadly, these are just the most obvious/biggest-selling/totally-in-the-KFOG-wheelhouse of all the winners.
SG: agreed on SNF; maybe she's departing from chron-order.
OTOH, guess "Thriller" is our token black/dance selection. BOS2 "Wanna Be Startin'"; at least we get something that is a 10@10 rarity. You're a VEG-ta-bull!
-
big BOS for Jacko, my favorite of his songs. Love the horn arrangement among other things.
-

what about Stevie?

Wrong thread, I know - MShray, rumor has it that your ScarJo is dating Sean Penn. Yikes.
BOS MJ.

WOS Paul Simon. Never cared for Graceland, sorry.

Just not a fan of the whole World Beat thing.

brings to mind a hilarious cartoon from the National Lampoon collection "Cartoons Even WE Wouldn't Print".
Homeless black man sitting on the curb wearing dark glasses, and with an amputated leg. Holds a sign that reads:
"Please help. I'm homeless, blind and crippled. And I think I might even be black."

ETA: Oh, wait, you had Nick of Time listed out of order, and I missed it.
I ain't no porcupine either.

Bonnie gives me a clean sweep, I regret to say.
