It's a visit to 1977 rock, pop, R&B and disco
-
Not my favorite 10cc tune. Better than "Dreadlock Holiday", tho'.
AAACK! hearing Skynyrd's "You Got that Right" twice in 2 hours is so so wrong.
BOS1 Heart when they were Diane Warren-free. Is this a song about a gay midget?
-
This set's very Drive-y. Snooozzzzzz............
-

I like You Got That Right, but twice in 2 hours isn't needed.
BOS to this funky thing.

BOS3 Mink DeVille doing his best ZZT imitation.

Well, to tell ya the truth...

yeah, lots of snoozy blooziness here. I thought that Mink DeVille was John Lee Hooker.
ETA: but if anyone is allowed to play the blues, it's Muddy Waters.

I feel like giving Donna Summer BOS. Did some people at the time actually believe she was a man, or is that just a funny urban legend?

Wasn't that was her singing Mannish Boy? I always thought so. ::)
-
...when they were Diane Warren-free...
Did anyone watch the Golden Globes? I tuned in halfway & apparently she won something right before I got there.
-
Break out the video tape cleaner poppers, boys!
I remember they used to call them "room odorizers" or something. And Gaz: that rumor did exist. Just as it does about Lady Gaga. le plus ca change...

One of my favorite albums of all time came out in '77, but I'd get hell from some of you for suggesting 17 minutes of Pink Floyd to Annalisa. :-\
-
BOS5 Neil.
meanwhile poppers were known as "room odorizer", "liquid incense" and -- bwahahaha! -- "leather cleaner"

Yes, and the kid's too. I love Lynch, but I also think she could play that role in her sleep.

I wouldn't mind. Neil's Hurricane isn't just breezing right through the set as it is ... not that there' anything wrong with that.
-

TANC: listening to Little Steven's show and he plays the Yardbirds' cover -- they make love for an HOUR in their version.
-

A little too creepy and weird, but it was OK until just before the end. Felt like mimes were beating me over the head with wet socks: scared, disgusted, insulted and in pain.

well, not from me Rod! But yes, snarkiness would ensue!
If you're ever really interested, I have a vinyl bootleg of the tour before Animals came out, and the songs were all slightly different than the way they ended up on the album. 'Dogs' was called 'You Gotta Be Crazy' and was slightly different lyrically, but the same song. The soaring quadraphonic solo at the Cow Palace was unforgettable.
