Title: 18 Jan 2011: it's... '80s chartbusters!
Post by: RGMike on January 18, 2011, 08:19:27 AM
no clues as of this morning.  AL will surprise us, I guess.

'80s VT starts with Dame Cliff. VHM "We Don't talk Any More", shee-ee-eep!

NOOOOOOOOOOO! Direct from the "never need to hear this one again" file, the tide is unbearably high.

VHM Kinks, but "Don't Forget to dance" wasn't a single until August of '83, AL. (and not exacltly a "chartbuster" in any case).

TANC: the tide WAS really high today as I biked in past the Ballpark on my way to work.  There were quite a few herring trawlers in McCovey Cove, pulling in their catch.  I might post some pix on FB later.

.. but I didn't need to hear Blondie, and though I never really disliked Genesis, not a fan of this cut.

Not a fan of this Def Leppard song, either.

so, you're not gettin' it, eh?  It's a rarity at least. But it *is* painful to hear foreigners making what they think is an hilarious pun in English-as-a-2nd-language.

I thought the title was a tad insensitive to their drummer.  :P
