Hard to go wrong with this one. I requested the original "Nathan Jones", along with a comedy record I'm not familar with by Benny Hill, "Ernie (The Fastest Milkman In The West".

I've heard "Ernie". It's pretty awful. Good luck getting that one. But here's hoping on the fab Supes tune.
Wasn't home last nite & it's too late to add any requests now. The usual assortment of overplayed classics. I really don't get the point of asking for songs you can hear 17 times a week on any oldies stream, but whatevs.

Since AL said the other day there'd be "more holiday tunes to come" on 10@10, I'm gonna predict we hear "Happy Xmas".
and I hope I never EVER hear Jessica Simpson's cover version.
-
Immediate BOS to Ree-Ree. Though I doubt her hips are doing much moving from left to right at the moment.

Indeed, this one is no surprise. BOS. I have a memory of hearing this on a jukebox in a Bleecker St pizza place duriing a junior class outing.
LAWD! uber-BOS2 Chi-Lites, for gawd's sake.

We'll have to agree to disagree.
VHM to Carly Simon's morbidity, though I wonder how old she is, still living with her parents but whose college friends have older children.

BOS: John Lennon, Rod, Carly
-
BOS3 3DN with Paul Williams' old-fashioned love song. Another of my very first musical adorations.
-
VHM 3DN -- this would normally be a prime BOS candidate but Bob played it recently and in this amazing set it drops a notch thru no fault of its own.
but kudos for the long version!

awesome. the heavy crucnhy guitar (my left channel) and the organ in my right ear, so to speak, sounds great.

Hey you guys!!! Ruth Buzzi is a Jeepster for your milk! Or something like that.
Stellar set. Except for the Allmans and Stones. ;)
-
AL never lets a '71 or '72 set end without T-Rex.
-
wow, was that Rita Moreno's original scream of "HEY, YOU GUUUUYYYYYYYYYSS"? I never knew the context, Bill Cosby and Milk.
-
Hey you guys!!! Ruth Buzzi is a Jeepster for your milk!

I should get a pass one this one; in '71 I was but a twinkle in my daddy's pants.

That was her recurring line on that show, came at all kinds of moments.
