a nice way to start the week.
ETA: but a less-than-stellar way to start the set: "Joy to the 'Trina", def one of the most-overexposed oldies of all time
-
ooo! instant BOS to a rarity from Tapestry. Ms King is "Beautiful", alll right. Amazed that no one (to my knowledge) ever did a disco/dance interp of this one.
-
Yay for Ringo and Harry and the Point! I love that show.

Indeed -- BOS2 and a psychic TANC; I nearly requested this song ("Think About Your Troubles").

but sheesh, didn't we get this Ringo tune quite recently?
ETA: yup, in our last '71 visit. And someone will still request it next time.

And more Ringo! One of his best I think.

Nice deep cut from Who's Next. "Love Ain't for Keeping". Would be very surprised if this isn't an ATB...what's it called?
-
BOS3 rare 'oo. "Love Ain't for Keeping" -- Proxy of urth 'n' shray.
-
BOS4 Stones, "Knocking" on a fave mondegreen: "you got massive boobs!"
-
Another BOS for "Can't Ya Hear Me Knocking" -- great tune -- but points off for the segue crushing the guitar tag in LAFK.

Haha! I would have enjoyed thinking it was that. But are they electric boobs?

Giants clips to be expected all week, I'd wager.
aaack! WOS 5MEB, "Signs" of the apocalypse.
-
Ginats clips to be expected all week, I'd wager.
aaack! WOS 5MEB, "Signs" of the apocalypse.
And a re-recording, at that.

BOS to The Point and to Can't You Hear My Knockers?

Seriously? didn't sound different to me.
VHM Savoy Brown (?) "Tell Mama", one of those forgotten FM staples of the era.

Yes! The second LSJUMB song in this set. Fun for me since I played with the Band this weekend for homecoming reunion. (first song was "It Don't Come Easy")

OMG! BOS6 Lighthouse! It's been one fine morning, indeed.

They were quite underrated -- Canadians -- and deserved more US hits. Check out their other charter, "Pretty Lady", which Gaz and I both adore:
