Normally, I'd give City of New Orleans a BOS without hesitation. But as it's a frequent flyer on the local radio station that's frequently on in my car, and it's also very popular with the array of folk singers who play the farmers market circuit, I hear it a lot lately. Still love it, just don't need to hear it for awhile.

BOS3 and proxy of Rod, ABB. Why "Blue Sky" wasn't an enormous hit single is baffling.

LAWD! uber-BOS4 Alice C, ripping off Lou Reed on the fantabulous "Be My Lover".  Another why-wasn't-this-a-hit? conundrum.

Yes indeed.

And a strange TANC:  I played a playlist on my iPod the other night that i hadn't listened to in quite some time.  It has both "Blue Sky" and "Be My Lover" on it.

WOS for Nilsson jumping into the fire.  I've always disliked this one, and I'm a fan.

nice set with lots of rat action.

Speaking of rat action, I watched Werner Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079641/)  this weekend.

it's fantastic, but has nothing to do with KFOG or this set.  It just features lots of rats in a  few scenes.

TANC: Nosferatu reference in last nite's ep of Bored to Death. (Jonathan Silverman to Ted Danson: "what's with all the 'Nosferatu' crap?")
