Title: 17 Sept 2010: it's... 1973!
Post by: RGMike on September 17, 2010, 07:34:17 AM
no clues on FB. I'm guessing another "No-request Nineties" day

ETA: a special request for someone's high-school graduation year. "Reelin' in the Years", indeed. But wouldn't "My Old School" have been equally appropriate?

Did this ("Reeling in the Years") not chart until 73?  Can't Buy a Thrill came out in 72, didn't it?

very LATE '72; both "Do It Again" and "Reelin" peaked as singles in '73.

"Diamond Girl" makes its 2nd appearance this year. VHM S&C but I hope we get some obscurities too.

ETA: and this Ah-nuld clip makes its 3rd or 4th.  BOS Spinners, always lovely.

American Graffiti: George Lucas' directing high point?  I think this illos is by Jack Davis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Davis_(cartoonist)).  his work appeared in Mad Magazine for many years. He's fantastic.

indeed. Miss Graduation Lady is very Top Ten-oriented. One "Chartbusters" set per week is plenty.

uber-BOS2 TOP -- the only non-chartbuster here.
