As mentioned earlier, there will be more 70's Bay Area rock on Monday. AL's FB posting suggests we'll get the Tubes.

I'm guessing we'll get Journey too -- maybe she can bookend the set, starting with "when they were good" and closing with "When they Sucked"

disco Dead -- WOS on principle, even if it is a bustout/rarity.

yeesh, double Dead? or is this Jerry solo? (something about "Cherise"? "Shereese"?)

BOS Laura Linney in Tales of the City.
proxy of Gaz, "Miracles". Nice segue, that.

"You won't be the same": That's the effect SF has/had on a lot of people, myself included.

what was the disco song? Did they play "Reuben and Cerise?" That's a total rarity if they did. Great song.

I think it was "Samson & Delilah" (?) but I was ignoring their output by '77 except for what got played on the radio.
VHM Jesse Colin-Young on his ridgetop.

i can't believe Jessie Colin Young was able to cut down six trees on his Ridgetop property without the Marin libs filing an injunction.

Dawned on me this morning that when you speed up the Beatles' "All Too Much" as Journey did, it sounds like 3DN's "Family of Man".

I've seen the "All Too Much"-"Family of Man" similarity mentioned elsewhere, and totally agree.
