Album tracks from Dylan's Blood On The Tracks, Zep's Physical Graffiti, Floyd's Wish You Were Here, Wings' Venus & Mars, Jeff Starship's Red Octopus, Elton's Capt Fantastic and Rock of the Westies, Eagles' One of These Nights, Ronstadt's Heart Like A Wheel, EW&F That's The Way of the World, Paul Simon's Still Crazy would all be welcome. BTW, they were all #1 albums during 1975.

overplayed soul stuff isn't unpleasant, but here's hoping we get a bit meatier as the set progresses.

Great suggestions from both of you.

Had I been on the ball I'd have requested something from Red Octopus.  But I hope we get "Meal Ticket"; I love that one.

Elton loves cheese too, har har.

Well, here's some Venus & Mars, at least -- the ring on the end of Paul's nose makes him look rather pretty. BOS.

S'okay. AL's playing one for all the folks who went to see Paulie last weekend. BOS1 Venus & Mars>Rock Show.

I'd have rather heard Magneto too. Guess I'll have to go score an ounce.

Another serious BOS candidate in She's The One. Bo Diddley shoulda got royalties for this, and about 40% of the rest of every rock song ever written.

Here's the winner of the popular BOS vote. One more for me, too:  GD, The Music Never Stopped. This was always one of my fave live GD songs, usually ending the first set. Never played it often enough for me.

They *were* a band beyond description...

That Dead song was one of the worst things I've ever heard.

Bwahahaha!  Funny, because that was really just the beginning of my "I don't care about these guys any more" period, which was really kicked off by "US Blues" and continues to this day. "Music Never Stopped" is fairly tolerable to me in this context.  But I was thinking yesterday, listening to Donna G's warbling on it, that they really wished they were Airplane/Starship at that moment. Grace & Marty mighta put that song over.
