In a career spanning more than 50 years, Hank Cochran wrote or co-wrote hundreds of songs recorded by Eddy Arnold ("Make the World Go Away"), Patsy Cline ("I Fall to Pieces," "She's Got You"), Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Elvis Presley, George Strait and others. He was 74. Cancer.
