aaaack: Toad the Wet Blanket starts us off and "Rrrrrrrrrico Sssssssssssuave" is on his way.
-
did AL post clues this morning? It seems we often miss out on making suggestions for '90s sets.

I was just thinking the same thing...
-
There she goes. Again. That's what makes her a Katrina, I guess. Or at least a frequent flier.
-
Today being Bastille Day, it might have been fun to do a set of hit songs sung in French and other foreign languages. I believe Dave did that once.
-
BOS Mr Sweet, that's a fun album.
-
The La's...I can't quite bring myself to WOS this, but DHM, I guess. At least it's not as bad as the Sixpence None the Richer version.
-
BOS Matthew Sweet's "GF", tho' it's a frequent flier too.
-
TTWS, LA's, & MS...Once again, with AL 90's sets, I'm experiencing deja-vu.

see the Drive thread -- Bob did that today.

Is this a live 10at10 or a replay, since AL had no FB post today and this set does sound so familiar?

indeed, this is like one of Dave's paint-by-number '90s excursions.
But BOS2 "International Bright Young Thing".

I think it's live, since last time "Girlfriend" appeared IIRC it wasn't until midway through the set.
-
BOS Jesus Jones, simply for being a song other than "Right Here, Right Now".
-
proxy of shray, B.A.D. Bless you!
-
I gotta give a big BOS to "International Bright Young Thing", that Jesus Jones album is really quite good all the way through, but in posterity it seems to have suffered from the overexposure of RHRN.
-

thanks, but I can BOS2 B.A.D. all by myself ;)

bwahahaha! That post was more entertaining than this set.
But BOS3 "Groovy Train" -- wasn't this from earlier than '91? Or is it the hash?
-
I heard a little Jeebus Jones and that would get my BOS, but I bailed for the Sound. They're doing 1972. Argent, Leon Russell and now here's Bread's Guitar Man
what up shray?! haven't seen you in a while
-
WOS-in-perpetuity "Rico Suave", one of the worst records of all time.
-
VHM to Groovy Train.
So this is the Rico Suave song? Meh. I could see this getting on my nerves if I had to listen to it more than once.
-
Clarence was enormously saddened -- his sadness was almost as enormous as Long Dong Silver's dong.
-
BOS Queen "Headlong"
-

Yeah, I been frequently not at my desk during the 10 o'clock hour this summer.
-
BOS to "Groovy Train", a request I made awhile back.
Another pattern for 90's set: Start with Katrinas, then play some more exciting tunes.
-
Here's some AC / DC I haven't heard in at least a decade...Money Talks! VHM
-
I remember in 1988 seeing Tim Allen do his ToolTime bit at a comedy club in NJ. Boy did he milk that all the way to the bank!
-
my stream just died, not that I'm too upset about it ;)

Me too. It's toast.
Show's over? I just heard "it's me Renee".
-
BOS Queen "Headlong"
which is what Freddie gave. ;)

That's Fogheads for ya.
-
Can't listen on the replay, stream not working. Now I want to stab "Mr. Opportunity" from El Cerrito Honda in the face after hearing that ad yet again. And again.
-
Damn, fell asleep during the replay with "There She Goes" playing. Saturday morning I'll have a date with KFOG.
