Dorothy Kamenshek, 84; inspired character played by Geena Davis in the film "A League of Their Own," she played first base and was lead-off hitter for the Rockford (Ill.) Peaches and was the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League's all-time batting leader with a .292 lifetime average.
