Title: 18 May 2010: it's... 1984
Post by: RGMike on May 17, 2010, 06:55:13 PM
"The year of The Karate Kid" sez AL on FB.  Vote early and often for Dan Hartman, "I Can Dream About You"!

Survivor's "Moment of Truth" would blow my mind.

1984 was, I'd argue, the best year of the decade for popular music.  Hoping for a cheery set - Ollie & Jerry, Culture Club, Shannon, Kc, y'know?

Any of those would please me; but we're up against some lameass Fogheads making requests too so I'll be gobsmacked if we get one of 'em.

the upcoming remake looks horrid, even with Jackie Chan.

BOS3 Bananarama! 1983's "Cruel Summer" finally became a US hit in '84 thanks to the KK sndtk.

3 for 3 on BOSes so far, especially JJ's wisdom and Bananarama's unison cliches and non sequiturs.
