Damn, I've got a 10:00 meeting tomorrow (thought sure we'd get '90s or late-'80s).
One of the Fogheads on AL's FB page actually requested "Daniel" -- as if it doesn't show up 17 times a week in regular rotation.
-
BOS to T.Rex, making for a *fantastic* TOTHK.
But I would have happily listened to a few more minutes of MTM.
-
BOS2 "Do the Strand," proxy of everyone for That Sexy Voice. I'm in it for the piano and sax, though.
-
BOS for Panic in Detroit. It's a glam-fest this morning on 10at10!

Continuing the glam with the following song. I like it, but I don't know what it is. "Forgotten boy?"

I wondered too, so I looked it up. I suspected it might be Iggy, and it was: "Search and Destroy".

NTM as well. Could it have been Jobriath?
HM to Hocus Pocus - I bet a lot of people will be tuning in to this replay.
-
Getting in Focus -- yeah!!!!

Yeah, and the looooong version ... yum.

Thanks! It will be a touch call between Iggy and Hocus Pocus for me.
ETA: Or a *tough* one.

another winner so far by Annalisa.
BOS Roxy and Bowie
-
BYOS (best yodeling of set), Focus. BOS, altogether, as well.
-
BOS3 "Superfly"! Wish I didn't have to leave for work now; I'm really digging this set.
-
HM: Charlotte! I bet she could take down Superfly.
-
another BOS for Timmy Thomas' Why Can't We Live Together?
...sometimes less is more.
-
If you want me to stay, you shouldn't make my computer crash during "Hocus Pocus". :'(
-
VHM, Timmy Thomas, who's wondering why y'all can't shack up, and BOSwhateva, Sly et al, who's hoping you'll ask him to stay, too. Lot o' cohabitin' goin' on in '73.
Btw, was that a somewhat extended organ break at the end of Why Can't We Live Together? Sounded like a little more than what I'm used to. (No funny organ cracks, fellahs.)
-
Another BOS for the New Riders, Panama Red. Next time AL wants to play a hippie dope smokin' song, I hope she finds the NRPS' Henry. A classic, but one that didn't get nearly as much play as Panama Red.

sounded right to me. (insert penis joke here, if you know what I mean)

Ouch, that's what you get for turning it up to 11. :-)
-
BOS: Zappa!

I don't think an organ crack would be a laughing matter.

That's exactly what I did, right after the second yodeling break!
-
How timely -- Frank Zappa ... I just got back from a teeth cleaning (she said I should floss a bit better).
-
Pretty superb set--must make a concerted effort to check in for the entire replay tonite. I got here in mid-Hocus.
Still another BOS for FZ, raisin' him up some dennil floss. Yippie ay oh kai yay!
-
I look forward to tonite -- goddamn boring 10:00 meeting!

Supremely fab set. And digging the plethora of clips, too. Dave would be pleased.

TANC:
Last night's "The Middle" featured a hilarious "Reverend Tim Tom" character, a guitar slinging Springsteen wannabe preacher who runs (for a short time) the church youth group. Songs like "It's Tough Being a Teen", "Your're Going to be Just Fine." Very funny, and his name was short for Timothy Thomas...
