A little bit of both--we're in 1970! And gawd bless AL for choosing a Clapton/Derek song that definitely doesn't suck. BOS1 Little Wing.

poc: did ya like Brothers and did you see the Danish original (which i think was much better than the remake)?

Glad I caught it! I started streaming at 6pm, my time. I forgot we changed our clocks on Sunday and now it's back to 10@7.

Brothers was OK. The acting was terrific, that's for sure. I would very much like to see the original. Perhaps I'll rent it soon.

BOS Neil, who can really love.
BOS2 one of my fave George tunes, "Apple Scruffs"

We're three for three so far. Another BOS for When You Dance I Can Really Love, and an uber-BOS for George's fabulous Apple Scruffs, from All Things Must Pass. Five frink points if you can tell me what this is about.

it's about the young ladies who used to camp out in front of Apple Corps hoping to catch a glimpse of a Beatle.
-
It's an Apple two-fer! Badfinger, with the Macca-penned Come and Get It.
-
That was an *awesome* Nova advertisement!! I want to find the audio for that so I can make a dance remix of my song, "Nova."

Dingdingding!
Digging this commercial, explaining why the Chevy Nova is better than O.J. Simpson. But they left out that the Nova doesn't hack his ex-wife and her lover to death.
-
Ha! Nova vs OJ. Cute.
Ride, OJ, Ride! VHM Les Images Bleu. My mom thought they were saying "mystery shit". Oh, mom!
-
double Apple: BOS2 Badfinger from Magic Christian.
Magic Christian, oh the time has come...
-
BOS3 Guess Who. You need not wonder why.
-
I was sooooooo into the Guess Who when I was a kid. But I don't have a single album! Must seek remediation...
-
My mom thought they were saying "mystery shit". Oh, mom!
That's what they were smoking!

They're marketing scoundrels. Not psychics. :)

Lawd! BOS4 a CCR rarity -- a bustout, methinks.

Really? I wouldn't be able to tell - all of their songs sound the same to me.
-

Indeed it is--ya beat me by that much! This, Apple Scruffs and Little Wing are all bustouts, so far as I've found.
-
Now I bet *this* is a bustout (whatever it is)!
-
Holy Crap! uber-BOS5 Miss Candi Staten Island! the orig of "He Called Me Baby"! ATBB-of-the-Week. Gaz will be sorry he missed this.
-
Now I bet *this* is a bustout (whatever it is)!
I'd bet you're right--and I have no more idea than you do! Mike, help us please!

much-discussed here recently, kids. It's the song sampled by One Eskimo on their hit "Kandi".
-
Jack and the waittress in FEP are an across-the-board Sally.
But OMG, this Zepp-like thing (James Gang?) is another bustout, no?
ETA: Actually, I realize we've heard it before on some 10@10 or other

That's some good cross-promo (I just went to the KFOG site to find the BOS email and saw the Eskimo video embedded there).

Yep--half a dozen times, actually. It's The Bomber, sometimes ID'd as a medley with Cast Your Fate To The Wind, but they're pretty much inseparable in my mind.

Mmmmmm... Chuck Wagon!
BOS6 Sly, lookin' at the gavel devil.
Serious stereo separation goin' on this morning!

Judge Judy?
y'know, I recently saw an entire episode of JJ (I was at the gym, a captive audience) for the first time. And the fact that Dave M was endlessly fascinated by her is just incredibly sad.

BOS from me - I was listening to this set from another room. Lot of stuff that was popular on 3WS during my childhood but that I rarely hear anymore ("No Time," "Ride Cap'n Ride").
-
sounds like a good set. Too bad my online recorder crapped out this morning! I'll have to record tonight.
