And Eddie's got Two Tickets to Pittsburgh...er, Paradise.
-
BOS Van the Man -- a deejay fave, as radio-referenciing songs usually are.
-
Hey you with the 'Trina face -- yeah, Mr Blue Sky, I'm talkin' to you.
-
VHM Genesis, tho' I tend to be in the minority in liking this one. At the time my feeling was "about time they had a hit single!"
-
Dude, it's PROG ROCK. Oh wait...maybe not.

it's prog rock-transitioning-to-adult contempo.
BOS2 DS, "Water of Love"
-
Knopfler et al get my BOS vote so far. And BOS2 to Gilmour, There's No Way Out of Here.
-
VHM the remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Nice seg to Gilmour's "No way Out of Here"
-
getting to listen for once, but not much chance to post. Eddie Money still gets a BOS from me after all these years, as does Knopfler & Gilmour. So far this whole set sounds just like what I was hearing on the radio in '78.

Nice to hear two of my favorite geetar players. Add Santana and you'll have all of 'em -- maybe "All I Ever Wanted" came out around 78?
ETA: Marathon came out in 79, but Inner Secrets was from 78. "Well All Right" would be swell.
-
BOS3 rare Police. Nice to see AL back in bustout mode.
-
BOS3 The Police when they were cutting-edge (that didn't last long). First bustout of the day, and a nice choice at that.
ETA: Gordon et al had just one appearance in '78 prior to this: Can't Stand Losing You, way back in '05.
-
BOS4 Blondie in the phonebooth -- it's the one acrawss the hawl.
-
Woo Hoo! BOS5 Buzzcocks, "What Do I Get?"

I knew Annalisa wouldn't forget to throw in a little punk rock!
-
Thumbs up for the shift of gears that started with the Police track, thru this rare Buzzcocks cut. Now this is what I call a Buzz-tout! :)
-
uber-BOS6 Teddy K. But wait -- what convention was in '78?
VHM REO when they were good.
-
This could be the most topical AL's gotten in her use of clips: Teddy K. railing about health care--thirty years ago.
-
wow, that was the longest & most overtly political newsclip I can recall from Annalisa, and a nifty segue.
A final BOS for REO. Yes, I am tired of the same old story.

I'll give a BOS for Messrs. Speedwagon. Good song.
