Something's off in this mix of "Time Won't Let Me," unless one of my speakers is shorting out.

a stereo rejiggering of a track that was orig mono, perhaps?  Sounds a little odd to me too.

TANC - Little Steven looms large in this set: He did a dramatic reading of "Psychotic Reaction" on his Valentine's show and played "She Said She Said" on this week's show. And of course there's the Springsteen/Swingin' Medallions connection.

Well, switch immediately to KPIG and hear the Viscounts doing Harlem Nocturne.  That's the ticket!

Excellent set! I'd have to label that one a 10-way tie. Glad I was able to catch the replay. Btw, I concur that the Outsiders tune was either a re-mix or a complete re-recording, although it was a lot closer to the original than that other re-do we heard a couple weeks ago.

By the way, the official Bustout Count is five: Johnny Rivers, Swingin' Medallions, Beatles (!?!?!), Dylan, and the Butterfield Blues Band. 7+7 Is has appeared only once previously in the DB. And the Outsiders tune is making its first appearance in a year-based set. Dave played it only in Time theme-sets for springing forward or falling back, once each.

Hmmm... will we get a "time" set Friday?
