-
the third song was great. who was that? BOS
HM to Kinks
-
Pretty heavy on the r&b so far--thru the first three songs anyway.
BOSes for all, including the Kinks' superb Set Me Free, which could just as easily have been a Zombies song.

AL treats us to another sample of the Mamas & Papas. Go Where You Want To Go--not their strongest, but VHM nonetheless.

Wow, Haley Mills and Dean Jones--how many Disney films did they star in between them?
Lookin' like we're nearing 10-way tie territory here.

Watch Out! This voice over guy sounds creepy!

In Annabella's world he was!

TANC: John Mellencamp following today's set, with Pink Houses. And there are rumblings that a group of Indiana Dems want to draft him to run for Evan Bayh's seat in the senate:

heh heh, I wanted to be in Annabella's world too, as well as her pants. zing!
I saw BWW back in 1982 or 83 in a little ballroom in Rochester, and during Christmas I went back to that venue, sort of visiting the spirit of new wave past, and it looked pretty small.

another BOS for The Miracles. Smokey's voice is so great.
His B-Day is Friday -- he'll be 70.
Nice that AL started with "Iko Iko", even if we didn't get a full-fledged Mardi Gras set.
