And with the dulcet tones of "cranberry sauce" ringing in our ears we move from Strawberry Fields to...San Francisco! Scott McKenzie, advocating the wearing of floral tonsorial decorations!

Dammit, I missed "Strawberry Fields Forever"?  Fucking taxi/people traffic in midtown.

BOS to "No one, I think, is in my tree," the Lennon lyric I most identify with.

BOS2 Hendrix! Second bustout of the day! (IHTMTDLN isn't in the DB either, oddly enough.)

BOSFRA to what sounds like Nina Simone singin' the blues.  I have 5 Nina comps but this isn't on any of them.

Strange Brew!

Which appears only once in the DB, but in '68 rather than '67.

And who's this doing the slow blues? No clue here, but I'm digging it. Major BOS potential!

WOS to the whitebread take on "Come on Down to My Boat."  Original version by Rare Breed was a grungy garage-rock thing with the slightly different title "Come and Take a Ride in My Boat."

Bwahahaha!

10-way tie (I was listening but busy making breakfast) with shout-outs to my uber-fave 'lectric Prunes and an OMGWTFLOL to Nina Simone -- I'd never heard that song until last year, when coincidentally Capital Gold was using it on a promo for their sexy-songs overnite show *and* a woman started doing a show on KPOO called "Do I Move You" (she opens each show with the song).  Can't wait to hear this set again tonite.
