The guitarist for Big Brother and the Holding Company died of a heart attack two days before his 70th birthday.

Looked for a news story on this, but Google News search turned up nothing. Yet his Wikipedia entry (which does not cite any sources) had been edited to reflect his death today. Hmmm.
