Me too. Meanwhile, I checked back--this one's a good 'un. Originally aired 9/15 of this year.

she made herself all giddy when she threatened to unleash Run Joey Run on us.  That was one of her best giggles ever.  Thank god we got to hear it twice in the span of 60 days!

Not as many as you'd think (or me either). Only nine appearances in the DB--8 in '75 proper, and one in a VT, representing '75.

The Low Rider Band  -- which contains four members from War who cannot legally mention their old band name while on stage or on their website -- played this at that "West Fest" thing a couple weeks back.   so I'll give them a VHM!

VHM Bob (everyone take a sip!).

WOS JT, the white Marvin Gaye (or the gay Marvin White).

"everything I did was just a bore" -- you said it, JT, not me.

Uber-BOS: Roxy, Both Ends Burning. Not a bustout even when this first aired, but it might as well be.

Oh, and (p)roxy of Cairo.

oh man, I think today's a Roxy Music Day!
Siren take me away!  Here I come!

BOS

Please don't ever let me down
'Cause you know I'm not so sure
Do I have the speed to carry on
Burn you out of my mind, I know
You're a flame that never fades
Jungle red's a deadly shade
Both ends burning, will the fires keep
Somewhere deep in my soul tonight
Both ends burning
Burning
Burn
Now my course is plain as day
Running bold across to play
Both ends burning with a strange desire
That feeds the fire in my soul tonight
I will dance the night away
Living only for today
Both ends burning while you're counting sheep
Hell-- who can sleep in this heat this night?
Tell me will I ever learn?
It's too late, the rush is on
Both ends burning and I can't control
The fires raging in my soul tonight
Oh will it never end?
Put your foot around the bend
Drive me crazy to an early grave
Tell me what is there to save tonight
Both ends burning
Burning
Burn
Keep on burning till the end, until the end
Keep on burning till the end, the very end

Want to talk about '75 frequent fliers, let's talk about Dwight Twilley. Fourteen appearances in '75 for I'm On Fire. You'd think someone would have put him out by now. ;)

Urth: stay tuned for "21 Guns"; I woke up to it at 5:45 so it's def overdue.

Y'know, I'm somewhat relieved to say I haven't heard it in the post-set slot (or anywhere) since we were kvetching about it a week or so ago. Hallelujah--perhaps someone's paying attention to our ramblings?

I'm late to the 21 Guns party, but has it been noted what a ripoff of ELO's "Telephone Line" it is?  I thought so.

good one..!  :)

it's played a helluva a lot here, but I like I'm On Fire.  I wouldn't classify it  as a Narada, but it reminds me of Dave b/c I get reacquainted w it from 10 at 10.

Yup. I've said it here several times -- some also hear a bit of "All the Young Dudes" in there too.

looks like Kings of Leon are the new Green Day. ::)  Kind of hilarious considering KFOG was rather late-to-the-party on this song.

WTF was up with the marathon? The last set was a 1990 "classic" -- not the 1990 show AL did last week; a diff one that included Soho's "Hippychick". Not sure which show from the past week got bumped; I woke up at 8:30 and we were in the middle of 1980, followed by '75 and '85 and then '90. Dunno wheteher the first set was HFH or '72.
