they started yesterday (Big Bird's legs were the "L"), and the actual anniv is Tuesday (11/10).

You know those thrash death metal bands with singers that basically growl?  I always picture Cookie Monster singing vocals and it makes it enjoyable!

when we were trick or treating there were a couple of dads (not dads who were a couple) in Bert & Ernie costumes, out with their grade-schoolers on the same street at the same time as us.  I think the irony would've been lost on them out here in Dublin.
